Installation notes

Use the exact folder, SQL file, dependency and startup order shown for your downloaded package. Some resources contain FXAP-protected runtime files, so their guides cover only the source and configuration that can be inspected.

AWS Appearance (iLLenium Appearance base)

An AWS-customized build of iLLenium Appearance. It provides character appearance, clothing, barber, tattoo, outfit, and management-outfit flows through the included framework adapters. Preserve upstream author and license notices when using or redistributing it.

Requirements

  • oxmysql and ox_lib
  • A supported framework adapter: QBCore/Qbox, ESX, or the configured ox framework integration
  • A compatible target resource only when Config.UseTarget or shop/room peds are enabled

Start the core, oxmysql, and ox_lib before illenium-appearance.

Database and install

  1. Back up the database.
  2. Review the SQL files under sql/ and apply the definitions required by the enabled framework and features. Do not overwrite a live player-skin table with an alternate framework schema.
  3. Copy the complete folder and add ensure illenium-appearance after its dependencies.
  4. Review shared/config.lua, shared/framework/, shared/peds.lua, shared/tattoos.lua, and locales/ before enabling shops.

Configuration highlights

  • Config.PrimaryColor and Config.VignetteEnabled: UI appearance
  • Config.ClothingCost, Config.BarberCost, Config.TattooCost, Config.SurgeonCost: service prices
  • Config.UseTarget and shop/room ped flags: interaction method
  • Config.EnablePedMenu and Config.PedMenuGroup: admin ped access
  • Config.AllowedPedScale and Config.PedScale: who may use ped scaling and its range
  • Config.RCoreTattoosCompatibility: enable only when rcore_tattoos is installed

Validation

Test character creation, saved outfits, tattoos, and management outfits using a test character for each enabled framework. If appearance data is missing, check console logs, SQL tables, framework adapter, and startup order. This fork retains illenium-appearance resource/event identifiers for compatibility.
