AWS Ped Scaler Ultimate
A height and weight editor with a player list, preview camera, ruler display and saved character scale.
Installation
Requirements
- ox_lib and oxmysql
- QBCore, Qbox or ESX for the corresponding player identifiers and lifecycle integration
Startup order
This example selects one framework and target. Use the resources matching your configuration and start dependencies first.
ensure ox_lib
ensure oxmysql
ensure qb-core
ensure aws-pedscaller
Setup steps
- Import sql.sql after backing up the database. The server also includes CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS for aws_ped_scale.
- Keep the resource folder aws-pedscaller. Its manifest name and event namespace use pedscaler with a single l; the folder spelling is intentional for this package.
- Configure staff ACE permissions and decide whether ordinary players may edit themselves. Do not install the alternative legacy Ped Scaler resource alongside this version.
Gameplay and usage
- Use /myheight or H when self-editing is allowed; authorized staff can use /pedscale and the administrative player controls.
- Save an adjusted scale and reconnect to test persistence. Extreme values can distort animations, so keep sensible limits.
Configuration
- configs/config.lua: config.lang, config.height and config.weight define locale and scale limits.
- config.commands defines /setweight, /setheight, /pedscale and /myheight with their permission settings.
- config.AllowEveryone controls self-editing; config.OpenKeybind defaults to H.
- config.UseCamera enables preview and config.stateName controls the synchronized state key.
Exports and integrations
aws-pedscaller.openMenu— seeaws-pedscaller/client/client.luafor its arguments and client/server context.
Troubleshooting
-
Permission denied: check the configured ACE entry and self-editing policy.
-
Scale is not restored: verify aws_ped_scale and the framework identifier.
-
Do not change the state name during an upgrade without updating integrations.
-
Include the package version, framework and exact server/F8 error when requesting support. Remove private tokens and player data.

Frequently asked questions
Does this need Keymaster or an escrow key?
The Lua sources in this delivery package were readable in the static audit. No /assetpacks requirement is added by this package. Required framework, inventory and map resources still need to be installed separately.
Can I change the folder or database table names?
Keep the supplied folder names. Historical event, SQL and KVP identifiers are retained to protect existing integrations and saved data. Renaming a table or event requires a separate migration.
Why is an interface or item missing?
Check the startup order, selected framework/target adapter, inventory item definitions and the server/F8 console. The package does not install an entire framework or inventory for you.
Has this been tested on my server?
ZIP integrity, source readability, script syntax and manifest references were checked locally. Multiplayer gameplay, your framework version and integrations require a FiveM server acceptance test before a public release.
